Are there scholarships to study in the overseas?

Most students who study in the overseas are self-funded and we only work with these. Scholarships are few and far between. If you are looking for an idea of costs read our article about the costs of studying abroad.

Why do you need to see bank statements before you start?

For two reasons: legally the universities require this and we need to ensure that all students we work with have sufficient funds to pay for tuition. This prevents both the student and our agency wasting our time.

Can I apply to an overseas university even if my marks aren’t high enough?

Yes you can. The UK offers what is known as a ‘foundation’ year to bridge the gap between school and university and ensure you are prepared.

Do I require an English test to study in the overseas?

The good news is that no, you generally don’t. English on the IEB or South African National Senior Certificate at a Grade C or above in First Language English or Home Language is generally enough.

How long can I stay in the UK after finishing my studies?

South African students who have successfully completed an post-graduate degree can apply to stay in the UK for up to two years after they finish studying.

Can I live in the UK permanently after finishing my studies?

If you get a job offer after studying the company may be able to sponsor you and after 5 years this will lead to indefinite leave to remain.
